East Side Soccer

We are an all-volunteer, outdoor, independent recreational league, serving primarily the City of Syracuse (NY) East and its adjacent suburbs. We are committed to providing a non-competitive environment to youth in grades K through 8, to teach the skills and concepts of soccer.

We are supported by player fees, donations, and a lot of volunteer hours, and offer scholarships to children who cannot afford our fees.

Registrations after August 15 and for the spring session only are accepted on a space-available basis.

Players are placed on teams in appropriate divisions, according to the grade level of the player.

The Kindergarten and 7/8 divisions are co-ed. Other levels have separate boys and girls divisions but may be combined based on the number of players registered.

Our goal is to create teams that are as even as possible and factors such as age, school, and ability are considered in the placement process.

We welcome you to join us as a player, volunteer coach, or other volunteers.

2021-2022 Season Kickoff Saturday Sept. 18

By ESS Web Manager 09/16/2021, 12:15pm EDT

Season starts Saturday, 9/18

Teams, Schedules, Volunteers

By East Side Soccer 09/11/2021, 9:30pm EDT

Teams & schedules available Monday, September 13

We are looking forward to the 2021-2022 season kickoff on Saturday, September 18. Teams and schedules are being finalized, and we expect to have them available on Monday.

We are still in need of volunteer coaches for K, 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 divisions. For divisions with practices (1/2, 3/4, 5/6), practices will be coordinated by our Director of Coaching. The primary responsibility of a coach is to  substitute players during the games on Saturday, making sure everyone gets playing time, and to offer encouragement and occasional direction during the games.  The Director of Coaching supports all new coaches, so no prior experience is required.  Please contact Anthony Terrinoni ( as soon as possible if you are able to volunteer as a coach.
