The first day of soccer is September 17th!
Attention all ESS Coaches: There is a mandatory Coaches Clinic on Saturday, September 10th at HW Smith. Plan to arrive at 8:15 for an 8:30 start. We will continue until 12:00. Please be prepared to come and play as we will have a speaker as well as on-field sessions. Coaches in attendance will receive game planners!
ALL volunteers such as coaches, assistant coaches, board members and referees must complete a risk management disclosure . This is mandatory.
East Side Soccer is all-volunteer, outdoor, independent recreational league, serving primarily Syracuse (NY) east and its adjacent suburbs. We are committed to providing a non-competitive environment to youth in grades K-8, to teach the skills and concepts of soccer. We are supported by player fees, donations and lots of volunteer hours, and offer scholarships to children who cannot afford our fees.
Registration takes place in June for the following fall and spring seasons. Late registrations and registrations for the spring season only are accepted on a space-available basis. Our fall season starts the week after Labor Day; our spring season starts at the end of April. Both are 7-8 weeks long.
Players are placed on teams in appropriate divisions, according to the grade level of the player. The Kindergarten division is coed. Other levels have boys and girls divisions but may be combined based on the number of players registered.
